Let’s Build a City!
A great JA experience at North Judson-San Pierre Elementary! The students in Natalie Manuwal’s 3rd Grade class participated in the JA Our City® program. They learned about the purpose of a city, money choices, how money moves through a city, and workplaces in a city.

The students also built models of businesses within their city, designed their future selves, and then placed them where they would work.

A special shout out to volunteer and JA Starke Board member Laura Leszek!
We appreciate your commitment to JA!

We want to recognize Sheriff Cothran, who has served on a neighboring county’s JA Board for the past 3 and a half years. In addition to supporting Junior Achievement as a volunteer and board member, Sheriff Cothran was on the front lines in his community throughout the night following the recent tornado and continues to be there for those affected.

Thank you for your leadership, service, and dedication to the people you serve. We’re grateful to have you as part of the JA family.
