Working with our partners at The Jewish Agency for Israel, bring Israeli shlicha (emissaries) to college campuses in the U.S. every year. These young Israelis form lasting friendships with American Jews and help them understand their connection to Israel is a bond that makes them part of something bigger.

On Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah, we finish reading the Torah and immediately begin again. It's a cycle that has sustained the Jewish people for generations.

But this holiday teaches us to pause before we begin again. We rest. We practice being present. We celebrate completion to honor what we've accomplished before the cycle begins again.
