🎉 We’re excited to share some great news!

The Northeast Indiana Innovation Community has been awarded an Indiana Community Collaboration Fund grant to develop and pilot a new Ownership Transition Readiness Framework for business owners.

Over the next year, we’ll be working with local business owners to help them think through one of the biggest decisions they’ll ever make - not just the transaction itself, but questions around legacy, employees, family, and what comes next.

Our goal is to create a practical framework that helps owners gain clarity while they still have options. Once it’s been piloted here in Northeast Indiana, we’ll make it freely available to entrepreneur support organizations across Indiana.

A big thank you to Governor Mike Braun, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, the City of Fort Wayne Government, Greater Fort Wayne Inc., the Indiana Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and all of our partners for believing in this project.

A proud moment for Northeast Indiana today.

The Rockefeller Foundation announced a new fellowship focused on how communities create jobs and opportunity in the future economy.

Fort Wayne has been invited to be part of that conversation.

It’s a sign that the work happening here is starting to be recognized beyond our region.

We’re just getting started at the Northeast Indiana Innovation Community, but this is an exciting step forward for all of us on the international stage.

The 5-month leadership development program focuses on expanding economic opportunity through community-driven solutions.
