The Voices of Unity Youth Choir, (VOU) is a unique and exciting soulful choral group under the umbrella of the Unity Performing Arts Foundation (UPAF), a community-based multi-faceted performing arts organization, based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. UNITY's signature choral program has risen to a premier status in a very short time. This choir provides urban and suburban children and youth in the Fort W

With a heart for mentorship and a background in youth ministry, Karla brings joyful energy and a deep passion for the arts to our team. She is committed to creating supportive spaces where young people feel encouraged, empowered, and free to express themselves.

Behind the scenes, Karla will help keep UNITY’s programs running smoothly. Outside of work, she enjoys pursuing her lifelong love of music and singing.

Whether they love to sing, dance, write, perform, speak, play piano, or try something new, Unity Performing Arts Foundation helps young people grow in their gifts while developing confidence, discipline, leadership, and purpose.

Fall registration is open for the 2026–2027 season.

For a quarter of a century, VOU has given young people the opportunity to discover their gifts, use their voices, build confidence, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

This spring, UNITY students stepped into moments of growth, creativity, confidence, and connection. From powerful performances to meaningful learning experiences, each moment reflected the hard work, courage, and dedication of our students.

We are so proud of everything they accomplished this season and so grateful for the families, instructors, supporters, and community members who continue to make UNITY such a meaningful place to learn, grow, and belong.
