Two weeks ago, we celebrated a very special first birthday! 🎉🎂 It was so much fun celebrating with this sweet little guy and his mom. 💙

Fun fact: Every resident gets to celebrate with a first birthday party after completing Program 3—a well-earned milestone and a wonderful way to recognize all of their hard work. We're so grateful we got to be part of this special day! 🥳🎈

🌱 Week 4 of our HEAL (Healthy Eating and Active Living) class was full of simple, delicious meals that our residents can easily recreate at home!

This week's menu featured:
🥢 Stir-Fry with Edamame
🍝 Super Simple Spaghetti Squash
🍅 Homemade Marinara Sauce

Through HEAL, our moms are building confidence in the kitchen while learning healthy, budget-friendly recipes they can make for themselves and their growing families. Every class is another step toward healthier habits and greater independence. 💚

A special thank you to St. Joseph Community Health Foundation, Parkview Health, and our amazing volunteer, Michelle Abel, for making this class possible. Your generosity and dedication are helping equip our moms with lifelong skills that will benefit both them and their children.
