Happy Mother’s Day to every mother, grandmother, bonus mom, guardian, and woman carrying the weight of love for others every single day. 💐

To the women working, sacrificing, praying, struggling, loving, and still showing up for their kids with strength nobody talks about we see you.
Some of y’all carried families on your back while fighting your own battles in silence. Some of y’all made miracles happen with little to nothing. That kind of love deserves flowers EVERY day.
From all of us at JAKD Outreach Center & GG Closet, today we celebrate the real ones. The nurturers. The protectors. The backbone of the community.
May God continue covering every mother with peace, strength, favor, and love. 🫶🏽

📣 URGENT NEED AT GG CLOSET 📣
Today alone, we gave out 45 pairs of underwear and socks… and that’s just ONE day.
At GG Closet, we make sure every child leaves with a full school week’s worth of underwear and socks—because dignity, confidence, and basic needs matter. These are items many families are quietly struggling to provide, and the need is growing faster than ever.
Right now, we are in critical need of NEW underwear and socks (all youth sizes). These must be brand new items, and they are some of the most requested—and least donated—essentials.
We are also seeing an increase in corporations and organizations referring families to us as a resource, which we are grateful for. However, we have not yet secured consistent partnerships or sponsors to help sustain this level of demand.
💡 If your business, church, or organization has been referring families to GG Closet, we would truly love to connect about becoming a partner or sponsor to help us continue serving at this capacity.

Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and impact of women everywhere. 💜
As a woman, a mother, and the founder of JAKD Outreach Center, I know firsthand that women carry so much our families, our communities, our dreams, and sometimes even the weight of the world. Yet we still show up, we still love, and we still find ways to lift others.
International Women’s Day is a reminder that when women support each other, incredible things happen. Communities grow stronger, children are empowered, and hope is restored.
To every woman who keeps going even when it’s hard you are seen, you are valued, and you are powerful.
Happy International Women’s Day. 🌸
