VETSports One Pitch Recap!

Our first ever VETSports One Pitch is in the books!

We ended up running about 2 hours behind, and we can’t thank the coaches and players enough for being understanding, rolling with the sudden changes, and working with us through our first time running a softball tournament. We learned a lot and appreciate everyone’s patience.

From the jump, these teams were playing lights out. Watching those green wristbands and the “foul ball second life” fly out of pockets was absolutely hilarious.

The Billy Goats took the crown at 4:50am, playing out of their minds the entire tournament. Legacy finished second after fighting their way back through the bracket and battling hard in the championship game. The Hustle took third beating Lost Boys to get into the losers championship falling short to Legacy.

A huge THANK YOU to every team that came out and supported VETSports and helped bring awareness to our organization. We hope we get the opportunity to run it back next year — and next time, maybe we won’t double up on tournaments. 😂

Thank you Turners, Staff, Volunteers for hosting and welcoming us!

Until next time!
