Our woof@rsw teams were proud to welcome back the veterans on Saturday's honor flight #29 . What a great turn out . And of course the dogs were fantastic. If you have never attended please try next time. Pics with permission

Here is a congrats to our newest team members..
Oliver , owned by Jacqueline Gaulin and Blue owned by Casey Romano .
Both dogs when not doing therapy work are earning some awesome confirmation titles.

It is with great sadness that we announce another loss to our teams ..
Handsome little Zipper .
But don't let his size fool you , this little dog had so much personality and love to give.
He not only was an exceptional therapy dog at Punta Gorda Airport,Charlotte county sheriff department and local libraries, and wherever he was invited he also was great therapy to his mom Carol Jo Barger . Zipper started his therapy dog career when he was two, so at 12 years and 2 months that is a lot of shared love.
His unmistakable cute sheltie smile will be sadly missed.
Rest in peace sweet boy and thank you for your service.

We had as always a fantastic day at the airport. We would like to welcome our new team Casey Romano and her Golden retriever Blue .
And W***y the Greyhound handler Binky Champion made his debut today.. congrats ..

It is with great sadness that we announce another sad loss to our team.
KaraGold's for your eyes only .
Aka Q. Lost his battle with hemangiosarcoma to the chest today. Our hearts go out to Donna and her family as this was her third loss in a few short months. Q joins his sister Sally and Brother Bones. Our hearts are sad but greatful to these wonderful dogs for the undeniable love they give .
R.I.P. Q and thank you for your therapy service.

It is with great sadness that we have lost one of our K9 members today. Cherokee was a super sweet therapy Greythound , who unfortunately lost his battle with osteosarcoma ( sadly common in greyhounds ) .
Thank you for your service and Rest in Peace sweet Cherokee.

Therapy Dog Sam also does scent work with his little brother Callen. This weekend they went out and both earned their UKC Novice titles.
