Familiarize yourself with common problematic w**ds in our area

Which w**d(s) are you struggling with right now? If you have animals, watch out for Foxtail - it can be dangerous to lifestock and pets: https://azinvasiveplants.arizona.edu/invasive-plant/foxtail-barley-grass

Kochia is another problematic w**d. This plant contains allelopathic (toxic) properties and can quickly crowd out other plants and grasses you want in your yard. When dry, it becomes a fire hazard and tumblew**d, spreading its seeds over long distances.
