Hello Lovely readers and listeners!
We have had a fabulous time reading with you over the last 4 years as you connected our community with story.
Unfortunately, there were unsubstantiated claims filed with spotify that we were infringing on copyright by recording the chapters from The Giver, by Lois Lowry. Whoever was complaining filed a separate claim for each chapter of the book, and Spotify did not respond to any or our messages or explanations - you may remember that we actually had Lois Lowry - the author of The Giver - read the last chapter of that book! They sent us a message today that said our account has been suspended due to repeated infringement claims.
So we will be suspending Goodnight Flagstaff for now.
It was a great run!
We're scheming for possible special episodes that we could possibly put out on occasion using social media:)
We are so sorry to disappoint you all with this news, but this is the second time we have lost content to a complaint and it just seems like the time has come to take a break. We hope you will continue to find books to share with the people in your lives.
