Our friends at Durango Nordic are open! ☃️🥳

And thanks to the snow this week, they will be able to hold their annual Pine Needle Langlauf race next weekend! The event is Saturday Feb. 28 and is part of the Salomon SW Nordic Race Series. Details at durangonordic.org.

The masters and kids teams were both able to take advantage of the snow last week and hold practices over the weekend! We were so happy to be on snow together even for one day!

The weather forecast isn’t looking favorable right now, but we’re still keeping our fingers crossed for more snow this season🤞

Paragon Athletics has been offering a pre-season strength and conditioning program exclusively for FNC members! The program is designed to prepare participants for the specific physical demands of Nordic skiing. Thank you, Paragon, for getting us ready for the snow! ☃️

The program is Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30 and runs through December 10 (no class the week of Thanksgiving). Occasional drop-ins welcome!

We will be at Dark Sky Brewing Company‘s Winter Kick-Off Party 1-5pm on Saturday Nov 8! We’ll be providing information about our programs, answering questions, and selling hats and headbands. Come see us!☃️

Thank you to everyone who came out to our annual public meeting and potluck! We had a great time reconnecting and sharing ideas and excitement about the upcoming season.

Roller skiing is a fun way to get your Nordic-ski fix in the summer! Several FNC members meet up regularly in the snowless months to roller ski in town. You might even see us skiing through your neighborhood!🛼⛷️
