We are so proud to have a feature piece for our newly formed brass section in our upcoming concert. You are going to want to experience their performance of Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man" on November 22nd at 3 pm at Winebrenner Auditorium!

We said we had exciting things to share and we meant it. Tonight we welcomed brass and woodwinds to join us! We are looking forward to sharing the stage with them at our concert on November 22nd. How fortunate are we to have so much musical talent in our community? 🥰

Speaking of musical talent, we would love to add an oboist and additional percussionists to our growing ensemble. If this is you, please send us a message! If this isn't you, please share with your oboist and percussionist friends! 🥁🎶

The string players of the Findlay Community Orchestra came together tonight for our first rehearsal in preparation for the fall concert and holiday season. We have some exciting things to share in the coming month so stay tuned!

We're one week away from our Musician Meetup!

Join us to meet some fellow musicians, enjoy sweet treats and some casual sight reading on Tuesday, July 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall of First Presbyterian Church!

Whether you've played with us before or have been thinking about joining, come spend a couple of hours making music with us. No performance, no auditions, just a fun summer evening with fellow string players. We hope to see you there!

***Please note: Our normal rehearsal space is unavailable on this date so please bring a music stand if you are able.***

🎻 String players, this evening is for you!

We've got a long stretch between our spring concert and the start of fall rehearsals, so let's fix that.

Join Findlay Community Orchestra for a Musician Meet Up on Tuesday, July 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall of First Presbyterian Church!

Here's the plan:
🍪 Sweet treats
🎼 Sight reading (just for fun... no pressure!)
🎻 Time to play, meet other musicians, and shake the dust off before the fall season

Interested in playing with us this year? We'd love to have you! Participants should be:
• At least 16 years old
• Have four or more years of experience on a string instrument

Whether you've played with us before or have been thinking about joining, come spend a couple of hours making music with us. No performance, no auditions, just a fun summer evening with fellow string players. We hope to see you there!

Our ensemble enjoyed sharing music with you all tonight at Art Walk. We are grateful for the opportunity to play for you and we look forward to doing so again in the future. Thank you to The Baker's Cafe' for hosting us and to the Art Walk organizers for putting on such a great community event. 🥰

A small ensemble from the Findlay Community Orchestra will be performing at The Baker's Cafe' during Findlay’s Art Walk this Friday, bringing a little live music to your evening art stroll.
