💙More Than Just Clothing: A Story of Hope

"She had escaped a domestic violence situation and was rebuilding her life from the ground up — all while putting her two elementary-aged children first. Their medication had caused unexpected weight gain, and the clothes they had simply didn't fit anymore. She wasn't asking for much. She just needed a little help along the way. We provided each child with a $25 gift card voucher so their mom could get them properly clothed. That mother's strength and love for her children is something none of us will forget. And we are so grateful that Transformations Thrift Store was able to walk alongside her, even in a small way, during one of the hardest seasons of her life."

Border Battle Euchre needs YOU! 🙌

We're recruiting volunteers to help pull off the MI-IN-OH Regional Euchre Tournament — a fundraiser for City Mission of Findlay. We need help with setup & teardown, tournament computer entry (scorekeeping), and floaters for various day-of tasks.

Every volunteer who completes a shift gets a T-shirt, Friday night pizza, Saturday night meal + lunch, and Sunday lunch — on us.

Shifts run Friday, Sept. 18 through Sunday, Sept. 20 in Findlay, Ohio. Pick a shift that works for you and join the team:

On Friday, we celebrated someone who has given so much to the City Mission family. 💙

🎉After 8 years of faithful service, we said goodbye to Miriam with a special lunch followed by an open-house style party filled with good food, laughter, memories, and plenty of appreciation for all she has poured into this ministry and the people we serve.

✨Miriam, thank you for your dedication, your heart, and the countless ways you have made a difference over the years. While we will certainly miss you, we are so excited for you as you begin this next chapter of life!
