The Findlay Family YMCA will be participating with other YMCAs across the country in hosting Welcoming Week from Sept. 10-19, with activities for Y members and the community!
This national September celebration created by Welcoming America highlights the strength, kindness, and connection that make our communities thrive. This year’s theme is “Every Neighbor Belongs Here.”
MEMBERSHIP PROMOTIONS:
• Those who join the Y during Welcoming Week will pay no joiner fee, get entered in a giveaway, and receive a $25 credit for your first program (youth, private lessons, aquatic, or group exercise).
• Current members can bring a friend or family member to experience a group class for free.
• Members who refer a nonmember to join the Y will receive a $25 Y credit.
• Members who check into the Y at least 12 times during September through the YMCA 360 app will be entered to win a prize.
• Member Appreciate Day: Friday, Sept. 11. Members will enjoy grab-and-go treats.
OPEN HOUSES:
Visitors will be treated to staff-led tours, meet staff and program leaders, and learn all about our memberships and programming.
• Downtown Branch, 300 E. Lincoln St.: Thursday, Sept. 10, from 6-8 p.m.
• East Branch, 1400 Manor Hill Road: Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
SPECIAL EVENT:
Family Swim Night, a free event that’s open to the community! The pool party will be held on Friday, Sept. 18 from 6-8 p.m. in the Downtown Branch’s East Pool.
