The beach, the park, your living room, your in-laws’ backyard – as a Findlay Family YMCA member, the YMCA 360 app can be right there with you, no matter where you are in the world. If you can connect online, you can access workouts and numerous other activities like painting and sport-specific instruction.

When we started offering YMCA 360 this spring, we wondered what people would think of it. Here’s what Derek Draper, our Community Outreach Director, said: “: I’m looking forward to utilizing the app no matter where I’m at. On vacation, at home, or outside, I will always have access to a quality workout. The fact that they use current/popular music for some of the workouts is even more of a bonus!”

Summer is for swimming, and there's no place like the Y to learn, compete, and have fun in the water! Be it through our Greg Shrader Swim with a Smile lessons at Riverside Pool that only cost $5 for everyone or our aqua exercise classes, we have the programming that fits your needs.

Such programming is made possible mostly because of support from our Annual Campaign. If you'd like to help a child learn how to swim this summer, sponsor a family who otherwise couldn't afford a Y membership, donate to your favorite youth sports program at the Y, or otherwise offer financial assistance to our nonprofit and our members, give here: https://tinyurl.com/mvbddkk7

Riverside Pool will offer another free admission day on Saturday, June 20! This one is courtesy of the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation's Fun for All series. Pool will be open from noon to 6 p.m.

To help ensure that everyone has a safe and fun time, here are some pool rules and policies to keep in mind:
• During free admission days, for those who leave, their wristband will be cut whether the pool reaches attendance capacity or not. Reentry will also be free, but they will have to stand in line to reenter and will get another wristband.
• The pool is cash only, including at the concession stand.
• For safety reasons, no inflatables of any type are allowed. At the baby pool, non-inflatable floats are permitted but if the facility reaches capacity, we require that they not be used because crowds make it more difficult for lifeguards to see below the water’s surface. However, non-inflatable floats will be allowed during adult swim times, which occur during the last 15 minutes of every hour.
• We have a new cooler rule: coolers are no longer allowed for safety reasons. They occupy too much pool deck space and the possibility of glass being brought into the facility also makes them unsafe. Families and individuals can still bring in their own food and drinks if they aren’t stored in glass or contain alcohol.
• There is no smoking or va**ng of any kind allowed within the facility.
