These toddlers created their own “Floor is Lava” game while learning about shapes! This week is all about circles, and these little learners even know the ASL sign for circle — ask them to show you!

Toddler 3 has been busy making circle art, exploring objects around the classroom that are circles, and using lots of creativity and imagination along the way. We love seeing learning come to life through play!

In Ms. Summer’s class, our Frog Street Shapes and Sizes theme has begun, and Toddler 2 is having a ball learning all about circles!

We decorated circle hats using different-sized circle objects and then listened to a story where everyone proudly showed off their creations. Our little circle of friends also used their fine motor skills to deconstruct their hats after the story — learning through play every step of the way!

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day. Findlay Family YMCA facilities are closed today with the exception of the East Branche's 24/7 membership program.
