We were so excited to volunteer at this incredible event💜

What an amazing day! 🎉

Last Friday, Career Connections Day brought together over 800 Hancock County 8th graders and more than 30 local businesses and organizations for a day of exploring careers, trying new things, asking questions, and making connections.

A huge thank you to all of the businesses and organizations who brought their time, energy, and creativity to make the day so engaging for students. And thank you to our schools, teachers, and staff for preparing students and helping make the day possible!

Families, ask your 8th grader what they did today. You might be surprised by what they discovered👀

We’re already looking forward to next year!

We would tag you all, but Facebook tells us it’s too many to tag!!! 😅

On our next walk down memory lane we are showcasing our Book Club!💜📚
Long before WISTEM became the organization it is today, women were gathering around books to connect, learn, and grow together. These conversations helped build friendships, strengthen leadership skills, and create the sense of community that continues to define WISTEM.

And the tradition continues as we have just kicked off our Fall 2026 Book Club! Stay tuned for more information regarding our Fiction Book Club📖
