A proposed Ohio constitutional amendment requiring the state to invest $1.3 billion annually for a decade in renewable energy such as solar, wind and geothermal has been submitted to Attorney General Mike DeWine.

It's not easy for a community to go "green" or to make itself attractive enough that people will stay put. But the Blanchard Valley Green Coalition has been developing ideas about transforming Hancock County into a more environmentally-friendly place for work and play.
