Since 1991, Cocoon House has grown into an all-encompassing, continuum of services that strengthens families while helping teens to reclaim their youth and discover their values, strengths and talents. This enables them to face the future with stability, dignity and purpose. Our services include emergency shelter, long-term transitional housing, case management, advocacy, and prevention. Cocoon Ho

use has been Snohomish County's only resource exclusively serving homeless and at-risk youth ages 12-24. We believe that every child deserves a home and the opportunity to achieve his or her fullest potential. Cocoon House provides youth housing and other critical community -based services to youth, caregivers, families and the community. From its grassroots beginnings, Cocoon has responded to the changing needs of our community. Since inception we have increased shelter space by 350% and now house more than 230 youth each year. In addition, through street outreach, prevention, education and a youth drop-in resource center, we reach over 1,000 youth, parents, and community members annually.

What experience could YOU help bring to SILK?

Cocoon House’s annual An Evening in SILK gala is coming up this October, bringing together more than 400 community members, business leaders, philanthropists, and supporters and we’re currently procuring items for our live and silent auctions!

This year, we’re especially looking for experiences that our guests can bid on and enjoy long after the evening is over.

Are you a local business owner? Do you have a connection in the community? Maybe you have access to something that could become an unforgettable auction package.
We’d love to hear about:

• Hotel or weekend getaway packages
• Spa or wellness experiences
• Restaurant and dining experiences
• Wine tastings or brewery tours
• Concert, theater, or sporting event tickets
• Golf packages
• Boat trips, fishing charters, or outdoor adventures
• Behind-the-scenes or VIP experiences
• Classes, workshops, or private lessons
• Vacation homes or unique stays
• Tours and local experiences
• Or something completely different!

Physical items, gift cards, and other auction donations are welcome, too.

We were so happy to have been a part of Music at the Marina with artist Antwane Tyler!

A big thank you to O.J. Marston for inviting Cocoon House to join Youthnet and Seattle Angels at her booth and helping shine a spotlight on the incredible work local nonprofits are doing in support of our community.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to connect with our neighbors, share more about our work, and celebrate the organizations and individuals working to make our community stronger.

We’re excited to share that Cocoon House has been selected as a beneficiary of the 3rd Annual Celtic Waterfront Party, hosted by the Irish & Celtic Society!

Join us on Saturday, August 29 from 2–6 PM at Everett Waterfront Place & Marina for an afternoon of live music, dancing, raffles, waterfront fun, and plenty of Celtic spirit — all while supporting local causes, including Cocoon House.

Growing stronger communities happens when people invest in the places they call home.

A heartfelt thank you to Crane Aerospace & Electronics and the Crane Charitable Funds for their generous $5,000 donation to Cocoon House, made possible through an employee nomination by Spencer Noble. This gift will help us continue providing critical support, safe housing, and opportunities for young people experiencing homelessness and housing instability in Snohomish County.

We're especially grateful to Spencer for thinking of Cocoon House and to Crane for fostering a culture of giving back through employee philanthropy. Partnerships like these help create lasting impact for the young people and families we serve.
