Four camp trips. One incredible story of God's faithfulness. 💙
We met Shawna in the fall of 2020 as a young mom. Since then, we've had the privilege of watching God write a beautiful story.
✨ 2021: Her first YoungLives camp experience was our regional weekend retreat. Pregnant with her second baby and caring for a toddler who wasn't sleeping, she experienced a leader who loved her in the middle of the exhaustion. Through those simple acts of care, Shawna encountered Jesus in a way that changed her life.
✨ 2022: She came to Washington Family Ranch as a young mom of two.
✨ 2025: As a RISE participant, she returned—not as a camper, but to serve on RISE Encounter, leaving her three kiddos at home.
✨ 2026: This year, she graduated from RISE and served as one of our camp leaders, pouring into young moms with the same love that was once poured into her.
This is why YoungLives matters. One "yes" can change a life. And years later, that life can help change someone else's.

YoungLives Camp is so much more than a fun getaway. It's a place where teen moms find community, build real relationships, make unforgettable memories with their little ones, and discover they don't have to do motherhood alone.
If you weren't able to come this year, we'd love to have you with us next summer! Come check out one of our events this year, meet other young moms, and see what YoungLives is all about. We'd love to save you a spot at camp next year!

This morning our Everett/Mill Creek YoungLives crew hit the road for an unforgettable week at camp!
We're sending:
💚 3 incredible leaders
💚 3 amazing young moms
💚 3 precious little ones
💚 And they'll be joined by our 3 wonderful childcare volunteers at camp.
Would you join us in praying this week?
Pray for safe travels, deep friendships, restful moments, laughter, healing, and that each young mom would encounter the overwhelming love of Jesus in a personal way. Pray for our leaders and childcare volunteers as they serve with joy, patience, and strength.
We can't wait to see all God will do this week.

Today we're celebrating an incredible young mom who graduated while raising twins.
Balancing school, motherhood, and all the challenges that come with both is no small feat. Through hard work, perseverance, and determination, she has reached an amazing milestone.
Her diploma represents more than academic achievement—it tells a story of resilience, strength, and a commitment to building a bright future for herself and her children.
We are so proud of all she has accomplished and can't wait to see what comes next for this amazing mom and her twins.
