A HUGE shout out to Everett Police Department, Everett Fire Department , Papé Kenworth, Everett Utilities, and Snohomish County PUD for bringing trucks for kids to explore at our Carnival! Kids absolutely loved the chance to sit in these powerful vehicles and imagine all the different futures they could grow in to. Thank you for inspiring the next generation!

A first peak at the wildly successful return of CCR's summer Carnival! 🎈

300 Casino Road residents enjoyed our summer bash before all the children return to school. Thanks to amazing volunteers and support from people like you, our carnival featured fun games and prizes, face painting, music, and even a stunning dance performance! 💃

During the summer, the City of Everett, WA - Govt spreads joy across the community with their Street Tunes program, decorating the city with beautiful painted pianos. Our courtyard has hosted these pianos, and summers are filled with the sounds of excited children pressing on the keys together with their parents, matching smiles.

We have now been chosen to be home to a Street Tunes piano permanently! Our resident artist (and board member!) is leading a special project to decorate the instrument in flowers and styles that are as colorful and beautiful as the families of Casino Road. We’re about halfway done – come see our piano when it’s finished!

We only have a few items and raffle prizes left on our list that we need to make Carnival unforgettable for the kids of Casino Road.

At our latest community-led art workshop, 12 mothers and 9 children created oil pastel landscapes! 🖼️

Guided by a bilingual speaker with English language learners in attendance, many who shy away from all-English instruction felt welcome and could easily ask questions and follow along.

With thoughtfully designed art projects and activities for their children, we see mothers in particular visibly relax and find camaraderie amongst one another. They get to discover or grow skills that help them express who they are. What better way to get connected to those around you than to share a part of yourself?

This is exactly what our community room is for: bringing family and friends together in—and as—the Heart of Casino Road.

We love being part of family milestones and are honored to be chosen to host to such a joyous occasion 🩵

A new summer partnership with Everett Public Schools (EPS) is filling the bellies of kids this summer!

EPS provides meals for us to get into the hands of little ones in need of nutritious lunches while school is out of session, and we connect and distribute lunches directly to local families. Just $25 provides the people power to feed a child in our neighborhood lunch for a week: meaning a monthly donation of $100 would feed a child for the entire month!

You can make sure no child in the Casino Road neighborhood goes hungry this summer by making a one-time or monthly donation to our fund with the Community Foundation of Snohomish County here!:
