Today, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Indiana joins in celebrating Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead), a beautiful tradition honoring the lives, memories, and legacies of loved ones who have passed.

Through colorful celebrations, cherished memories, and meaningful traditions, we are reminded that the love and impact we leave behind continue to shine for generations.

Just like mentorship, the connections we build can leave a lasting impact that lives on in the hearts of others.

Happy Birthday, Mikayla!

Today we’re celebrating our amazing Match Support Specialist! Mikayla spends her days checking in with our Bigs, Littles, and families, cheering on their friendships and making sure every match has what it needs to grow strong.

She’s a big reason our matches thrive, and we hope today she feels just as supported and celebrated as she makes everyone else feel.

Join us in wishing Mikayla the happiest of birthdays!

Happy 3rd work anniversary, Kelsie!

Three years ago, Kelsie joined our team as Child Enrollment Specialist, and she’s been the first friendly face for so many families walking through our doors ever since. She’s the one who helps kids take that very first step toward meeting their Big, and she does it with patience, warmth, and a whole lot of heart.

Every match starts with enrollment, which means Kelsie has had a hand in countless friendships that are impacting young lives right here in our community.

Thank you for all you do, Kelsie. We’re so lucky to have you!

Feel Good Friday!!

Little Khaliese and Big Lisa kicked off spooky season with a fun-filled fall adventure at Mayse Farm! From enjoying the crisp autumn air and visiting the farm animals to snapping sweet photos and picking out the perfect pumpkins, these two made the most of their time together!

There's nothing quite like pumpkin patches, fall festivities, and a little Halloween magic to create lasting memories. It's about the laughter, connection, and quality time that make their match so special!
