The aims of UNOE are t
o:
~ Identify neighborhood concerns and work together on these issues
~ Assist Neighborhood Associations in working with community and government agencies
~ Provide a common forum for Neighborhood Associations to exchange information, knowledge, and expertise through:
- Monthly newsletters
- Monthly general meetings
- Public forums
- Website, Facebook and other social media
~ Collaboration with other community organizations that advocate for Evansville neighborhoods
~ Help citizens connect to neighborhood associations that represent their area
~ Support residents in forming new associations where previously nonexistent

Annual membership dues entitle each Neighborhood Associations to
~ Technical assistance from the UNOE staff and board members
~ Assistance with neighborhood association projects and programs
~ Research, program ideas, and development assistance
~ Computer and work station for individual Neighborhood Association use
~ Support and printing of association newsletters at a reduced cost and use of UNOE mailing services and bulk permit
~ A page for the neighborhood on the UNOE website
