Lessing Lodge #464 F.&A.M. We are a fraternal organization that has existed for over 300 years in the world. Our core principles are brotherly love, relief, and truth. M. C.L. Chr. J. W. S.

We build men of word and deed. Lessing Lodge No. 464, F. & A. was founded on the 7th day of December, 1872. On the 27th of May, 1873, these founders received their charter from the Grand Lodge, the Rev. Runck being named as Worshipful Master in the charter and S. Loewenstein as Senior Warden and G. L Altvater as Junior Warden. The founders consisted of these three gentlemen, together with Fred Hofmann, C. Kratz, Philip Nonweiler, Wm. Pretorius, Daniel Heilman, J. Bopp, Julius Kahn, Harry Joseph, H. Elmendorf, Samuel Meyer, Philip Klein, F. Zumstein and Wm. Koch. From the date of its foundation until the present day, Lessing Lodge has been the focal point for the activities of the leading Germans and German-Americans of this city, and its standing has always been of the highest and most honorable. It remains today, as it has always been, a true German Masonic Lodge, and among its members, past and present, the best Germans have been represented.

Last night we celebrated the long-standing annual tradition of the Lessing Lodge No. 464 Rabbit Fry. It was a wonderful evening filled with great food and even better fellowship. We have many well-deserved thank yous to share, so let’s begin.
A big thanks to the Hadi Potentiate Illustrious Sir David Bevins and all of our Shrine Brothers for providing us the use of their banquet room as we continue to recover from the flooding of our Temple. Thank you to the Rainbow Girls for their hard work each year serving our guests a cleaning up afterwards. Thank you to the Hadi Highlanders and the DeMolay for kicking things off, to Pat Coslett for the entertainment, to WB Darren Lewis for making sure that the main course is always top notch, and a huge thank you to WB Drew Seitz, all the officers, members, and families of Lessing Lodge No.464 for coming together to make this a successful event! And finally, thank you to those who continue to support this event every year, we couldn't do it without you! God bless you all!
