Huge shout-out to everyone who volunteered in the booth this week! We truly appreciate everyone who gave their time, energy, and effort to help keep things running.

It takes a great group of volunteers to make this all happen, and we couldn’t do it without you.

*GOLFMOOR ANNOUNCEMENT*

You may have noticed our league president, Cody Allen, helping Golfmoor Baseball this season. We at Highland thought it would be nice to send him over there until they were up to our high standards.

We know it’s a big responsibility, but we’re confident he’ll have them running like a well-oiled machine in no time.

Please treat him well while he’s on loan. Highland expects him back when the training wheels come off!

And while we’re on the subject of tradition, let’s not forget our German bologna—the original, unmistakable flavor of Highland. Golfmoor may have borrowed our League President and copied our colors, but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, we suppose.

GOLFMOOR VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH

After an extensive search, we are sad to announce that Golfmoor’s Volunteer of the Month is… VACANT.

Apparently, nobody at Golfmoor has yet demonstrated the qualifications necessary for the position.

The ideal candidate must:

* Aspire to be more like Highland
* Understand what real baseball food tastes like
* Have excellent fundraising skills
* And most importantly… LOVE GERMAN BOLOGNA

If you haven’t tried Highland Baseball Club’s award-winning German bologna, you’re missing out.

It’s so good that Evansville’s Police Chief approved it — and we’re pretty sure that qualifies as an official endorsement from the highest levels of government.

Come by BOOTH 76. Get yourself some German bologna. Take notes.

Keep reaching for the Highland standard, Golfmoor. We believe in you.
