CAPE Housing Community Action Program of Evansville
Serving Gibson, Posey, Vanderburgh, and Warrick Counties (CAPE) is one that encompasses the community as a whole.

The Mission of The Community Action Program of Evansville & Vanderburgh County, Inc. Our Agency addresses the customer’s needs in a non-judgmental and respectful manner to promote economic and social self-sufficiency. This mission is supported by employees committed to addressing the needs of the community we serve. Our objective is accomplished by collaboration with the community to provide tools, skills and services through programs that meet individual needs.

CAPE will soon be accepting applications for its Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program.

Important Dates
📅 Application Pickup Begins: October 5th
📅 Application Period Opens: October 12th
📅 Application Deadline: October 26th

Eligibility Requirements
✅ Applicants must own and occupy their home
✅ Applicants must reside within Evansville City Limits

How to Apply
Applications will be available for pickup beginning October 5th. Completed applications must be submitted during the application period of October 12th through October 26th.

What to expect at this event:

Certified CPR Instructor will provide demonstration on Infant CPR
Presentation on Importance of Breastfeeding
Presentation on Safe Sleep Practices
Vendor Exhibits with information and resources
Lead Testing by VCHD

Raffle Drawings for Door Prizes
Lunch provided

New Ronald McDonald Care Mobile on site for tours
