Who’s ready to Rally for Rescues today!?! 🐈

Yesterday, we stopped by two of our amazing friends to pick up some special donations that will help bring the fall fest feeling to Rally!

🎃 At , we picked up pumpkins for our Pumpkin Patch and autumnal decor to create a festive fall atmosphere from the moment you check in!

📸 At , we picked up everything we need to transform our photo booth into the perfect autumn backdrop for everyone to snap a picture and capture some memories at Rally!

A huge THANK YOU to both of these wonderful local businesses for helping us bring Rally for Rescues – Fall Fest to life. We can’t wait to see everyone TODAY at Baker Park from 12–3pm! 🧡

Two weeks ago, Candy Corn was a tiny, soaking-wet kitten who needed a second chance. She arrived at Paws and Claws battling an upper respiratory infection, ear and eye infections, and malnutrition. Today, she’s a whole new kitty. She’s still on medication and has some weight to gain, but she’s through the worst of it.

Cats like Candy Corn are why we do this work. Many arrive with treatable illnesses that, in overcrowded, under-resourced shelters, can cost them their lives. Providing the medical care they need comes at a cost, especially when we typically have 180 cats in our care at a time.

That’s where Rally for Rescues – Fall Fest comes in! Join us tomorrow at Baker Park as we raise critical funds to help more cats get the care they deserve.

We hope you’ll be part of the community that makes these second chances possible. 💙

Spooky season is upon us! 🎃 We welcomed some Halloween-themed cats over the weekend, and we think you’re going to love their names!

If Halloween is right around the corner, guess what’s even closer? You guessed it: Rally for Rescues – Fall Fest!

We’ve been talking about this event nonstop because it means so much to us for you to be there. All the planning, preparation, and hours our team has poured into Rally are for cats just like these little ones. Even Texas Chainsaw Massacre. 🫣

So come Rally with us this Saturday! The weather is looking beautiful, and who knows? You might even meet a few of these adorable faces while you’re there. 🐈‍⬛

So far this year, 683 cats have found their forever homes! That brings us to 2,704 cats adopted since the Paws and Claws Cat Adoption Center opened in May 2023. Not too bad, if we do say so ourselves! 😉

One of our favorite things about community events like Rally for Rescues – Fall Fest is getting the chance to reconnect with adopters and see how our former residents are doing in their new homes.

Adopters, we want to see those glow-ups! Come out to Rally for Rescues on October 17, share your alumni photos with us, and tell us how your kitties are doing. We can’t wait to catch up! 🎃🍂🐈‍⬛

Rally for Rescues – Fall Fest is just 7 days away! But what does that really mean?

Right now we have 180 cats in our care, a number that fluctuates every day as cats are adopted and new cats arrive. Since 2020, we have saved more than 3,875 cats from euthanasia. That impact is INCREDIBLE for a 6-year-old organization, and that’s only because we have our community by our side, rallying with us and our cats!

Rally for Rescues helps us raise the funds that make this work possible, so we can continue saying yes to cats who need us.

And there’s no better way to support our cats than by joining us for an afternoon of nostalgia at an autumn-themed, carnival-style outdoor event!
