Proceeds from Thrift House go back into our community through the volunteer work of the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore's members Our Mission:

• Raise funds to support our League’s operations and community outreach programs.

Our community heard our cry for help (in the form of a need for plastic bins after basement flooding) and SHOWED UP.

Thank you to everyone who shared our need (especially The Main-Dempster Mile 😘), brought in bins of all sizes, and even some incredible humans who purchased brand new ones for us 😇

We are not surprised by the generosity of our customers and community members, but we are deeply grateful for it.

And yes, we are still accepting them… we have a very big basement 😆

Thrift House is a non-profit store run by the Junior League of Evanston-North Shore and has been focused on supporting women, children, and families through grants, scholarships, volunteer projects, and leadership training for more than 85 years.
