A new campus. A new chapter. A chance to build something from the ground up. 🐺

Sigma Alpha Epsilon is coming to Stony Brook University in Spring 2027!

For the first time, SAE is bringing our brotherhood to Stony Brook, and we're looking for the next generation of leaders to help build its foundation.

This isn't just an opportunity to join a fraternity. It's a chance to create one. To establish traditions, shape a culture, build a lasting brotherhood, and leave a legacy that will impact generations of students to come.

We're looking for men who are ready to lead, challenge the status quo, and make the fraternity experience their own.

Be a founder. Build the brotherhood. Leave your legacy.

Stony Brook, we'll see you in Spring 2027! 🔥

These 10 chapters are leading the way in recruitment, having welcomed the most new members into Sigma Alpha Epsilon so far this year.

From the locker room to the boardroom, leadership is about more than the title; it’s about how you show up for the people around you and the decisions you make when it matters most.

Drew Stanton, Super Bowl LV Champion and Michigan Gamma alumnus, knows what it takes to lead when the pressure is on. Now, he’s sharing that perspective with the next generation of SAE leaders.

Leadership School is where brothers come together to sharpen their leadership, challenge themselves, and prepare to lead with purpose.

Learn from leaders like Drew. Build relationships that last. Take the next step in your leadership journey. See you there!

Some of the best parts of your SAE story are still ahead of you, and they start with a simple word, “yes.”

At DRI + Leadership School, you could:
Meet a Brother who becomes a lifelong friend.
Hear an idea from another ambitious leader that changes the way you approach your own chapter.
Build skills you’ll lean on as you begin your career and continue to grow as a leader.
Discover something within SAE’s Ritual that changes the way you navigate life.
You won’t know which conversation, lesson, or connection will stay with you for years to come until you put yourself in the room.

Say yes to the experience. Say yes to the people you haven’t met yet. Say yes to investing in who you’re becoming.

Make DRI + Leadership School part of your SAE story. Register today!

On this day, October 1, 1943, in a dark hospital chapel under the most covert of conditions, Neophyte Philip Meier of Pomona College was initiated into the 'Cabanatuan Alpha Alumni Chapter of ΣAE, the first, to our knowledge, ever formed in a military prison camp' by a bold and brave band of Brothers. For a badge, an old, silver Philippine peso was somehow obtained and was handcrafted for the occasion.

We in Bataan and on Corregidor have found comfort and respite from war’s horror in our fraternity relations. The wretched conditions of prison camp life are no bar to the rekindling of this spirit in our hearts as we meet in secrecy, telling in whispers, and singing softly our fraternity songs.....We need have no fear of the world of law and order being overthrown as long as men cherish such ideals as we in ΣAE hold to be dear and are willing to forfeit our lives to protect and preserve. Our eight Founders met originally in secrecy; now we, in a Japanese prison camp, must also gather surreptitiously with the threat of punishment, if discovered, hanging over our heads."

Of the 28 recorded members, only 12 returned home from the war.

Thanks to the SAE Historical Society & Brother John Werner for helping keep their memory alive. Brothers can join the SAE Historical Society page to hear more SAE History, chapter foundings, and local history! https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1V2tHEbbgx/

With Hazing Prevention Week coming to an end, we want to take a moment to recognize one of our partners, Lianne Kowiak, for all she has done to help Sigma Alpha Epsilon spread the message of hazing prevention.

We also want to shout out our chapters who are bringing Lianne to their campuses: West Chester University, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Cal Poly Pomona, as well as some who have brought her to campus in the past academic year.

Thank you all for leading by example, and thank you, Lianne, for continuing to share Harrison’s story and spread the message of hazing prevention.
