Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of justice. Impact Behavioral Health Partners honors this day by recognizing the deep connection between liberation and mental wellness.

Freedom is not only physical. The trauma of slavery, systemic oppression, and generational inequity has had lasting effects on the mental health of Black communities. Juneteenth reminds us that healing, like freedom, is a continuous journey.

As a community behavioral health organization, we are committed to providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care that acknowledges this history and centers the lived experiences of those we serve.

Equity in mental health means understanding where our communities have been, and showing up fully for where they are going.

Today, we celebrate Black joy, Black strength, and Black futures.

At Impact Behavioral Health Partners, we believe acceptance and affirmation aren't just good for the soul, they're good for mental health. Research shows LGBTQ+ individuals thrive when surrounded by support, representation, and communities that see them fully.

Pride is a reminder that joy is powerful, belonging matters, and care should meet you exactly where you are, without judgment.

This month, we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and reaffirm our commitment to affirming, inclusive behavioral health care for everyone who walks through our doors.

Happy Pride from all of us at Impact!

This week, we celebrate the strength of mothers. πŸ’œ

It's Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week. At Impact Behavioral Health Partners, we know that mental health and stable housing go hand in hand.

Our Family Permanent Supportive Housing Program provides permanent homes for moms living with a mental illness and who have faced chronic homelessness.

When families have stability, children's self-esteem grows, grades improve, and families thrive.

On the last day of Counseling Awareness Month, we hear from Hana and Mona as they share their perspective on counseling through the lens of the Clinical and Employment Programs.

Hana, a Clinical Supervisor at Impact, creates space for people to share their stories without judgment.

For Mona, a Lead Employment Specialist, counseling means showing up for people in moments that matter.

Their words remind us that counseling comes in many forms, and at its heart is compassion, connection, and support.
