Strong women change the world — and education is where it begins!

Thanks to our Scholarship Program, women like Muntaha are turning their dreams into impact. Now in her second year as a scholarship recipient, she continues to inspire us with her dedication to becoming a nurse and giving back to her community.

As part of her scholarship journey, Muntaha recently led a First Aid Workshop that equipped women with practical tools to respond to emergencies with clarity and courage. From understanding the ABCDE approach to managing burns, fainting, choking, heatstroke, poisoning, and more, the workshop showed how knowledge can transform fear into action.

Some houses hold memories...This one tells a story!

In the heart of Nazareth’s Old City, the Fauzi Azar Cultural House is becoming a living space where history breathes, voices echo, and narratives meet. Here, the past, present, and future of the Israeli Palestinian story unfold through dialogue, memory, and shared experience.

This historic Palestinian home will soon host the Dual Narrative Education Center, with three immersive rooms — each dedicated to a different chapter of our collective story:
the past, the present, and the future.
But this project is more than an exhibition.
It’s a living archive, shaped by the people who lived it.

Over the past weeks, we’ve been sitting with the Azar family (original owners of the house) — daughters, grandchildren, and relatives — recording oral histories, gathering memories, and honoring the legacy of Fauzi Azar, whose life and home remain woven into Nazareth’s cultural fabric.

Their stories, laughter, and reflections are helping us restore not only the house, but the spirit that once filled it.
Today, the Cultural House is already alive with voices and community energy.

If you happen to be in Nazareth, you’re welcome to step inside — wander through the rooms, feel the history in the stones, say hello, or enjoy a quiet coffee in this beautiful Palestinian home.

The space is open every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday morning for workshops, gatherings, and cultural activities, offering a warm and inspiring setting for anyone looking to learn, create, or connect.

At InterAct, we celebrate the magic that happens when women learn, create, and grow together.
Our Educational Scholarships for Palestinian Women program continues to grow through the talent, creativity, and leadership of the women within it. This week, we held our second workshop — once again led by one of our own.
This session was guided by Dalia, an MA student from Jerusalem and a second time scholarship recipient. Alongside her academic journey, Dalia is developing a small business idea centered around fruit decorating and carving — a craft she brought to life in this hands on workshop.
What began as a creative activity quickly became something deeper.
The women learned how to:
• Transform everyday fruits into beautiful artistic designs
• Practice patience, focus, and fine motor creativity
• Use artistic expression as a form of joy, confidence, and self care
• Celebrate their own skills while encouraging one another
Workshops like this remind us that learning, creativity, and joy can go hand in hand. Each session becomes a moment of connection — women coming together to try something new, have fun, and strengthen the community they’re building side by side.

At InterAct, we believe in the power of women inspiring women.

Our Educational Scholarships for Palestinian Women program is built on that spirit — supporting women not only in their studies, but in their leadership, skills, and confidence.
One of the most beautiful parts of the program is that the scholarship recipients themselves lead workshops, sharing their knowledge and lifting each other up.

Our first workshop was led by Shireen, a PhD student in Business Administration. She introduced the group to Google tools, with a special focus on Google Forms.
The women learned how to:
• Create professional surveys
• Collect and analyze data
• Build registration and feedback forms
• Use digital tools to support their projects, studies, and community initiatives
This is what empowerment looks like:
women teaching women, women supporting women, women building the skills to lead.

InterAct International is excited to launch the third round of its scholarship program, dedicated to ambitious Palestinian women eager to continue their educational journey.
Scholarship Amount: $500 – $1,500
Commitment: Attend 4–6 monthly workshops from March to August 2026
Opportunities: Paid internships with partner institutions in diverse fields
