🔴 R.E.D. FRIDAY – REMEMBER EVERYONE DEPLOYED 🔴

GEORGIA, LET’S REMEMBER OUR OWN.

Today, VFW Post 12190 pauses to recognize the Georgia service members currently deployed around the world.

From the Georgia Army National Guard and Georgia Air National Guard to our active-duty service members stationed far from home, Georgians are standing watch, answering the call, and carrying out their missions away from the people they love.

Behind every deployed service member is a family waiting for their safe return. A spouse holding things together, children counting down the days, and loved ones praying for the next phone call.

This Friday, let’s make sure they know their service and sacrifice have not been forgotten.

🔴 Wear RED. Remember Everyone Deployed.

To our Georgia service members overseas: Your community is thinking of you. Your service matters, and we look forward to welcoming you home.

To the families holding down the home front: We see you, too. Thank you for your strength and sacrifice.

GEORGIA, DROP A 🔴 BELOW TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT!

Share this post, tag a deployed Georgia service member, and let their families know they are not forgotten.

🇺🇸 2,000 FOLLOWERS IS THE GOAL. BUT THE MISSION IS SO MUCH BIGGER.

Let’s be clear: We’re not chasing numbers, likes, or internet popularity. We’re trying to reach VETERANS.

We’re trying to reach the veteran who misses the camaraderie of serving alongside others. The veteran who feels disconnected. The veteran who doesn’t know where to turn for help. The veteran who just needs somewhere to belong.

That’s what the VFW is about: MEETING VETERANS WHERE THEY ARE.

And we’re doing it through more than just service and advocacy!

🥩 Steak Nights | 🎱 Bingo | 🃏 Poker & Game Nights
🎮 Veteran Gaming | 🇺🇸 Benefits Service Officer Office Hours
🤝 Community Outreach | 🎓 Youth Programs

Whether we’re helping someone navigate VA benefits, sharing a meal, playing a game, or showing up for our community, we’re creating opportunities for connection, purpose, and camaraderie.

So here’s our ask:

👍 FOLLOW us on Facebook & Instagram.
🔄 SHARE our posts.
💬 TAG a veteran who could use a place to connect.

Our goal is 2,000 followers by December 31st, not for the number itself, but for the veterans we haven’t reached yet.

You don’t have to be a veteran to help us reach one.

WE SERVED OUR COUNTRY. NOW WE SERVE OUR COMMUNITY.

🇺🇸 Nobody should have to navigate life after service alone.

As Congress prepares to return, the VFW remains clear: Pass the clean Major Richard Star Act and oppose TCAVA as written.

Support for veterans does not have to mean reducing benefits for future ones.

Veterans are watching.

🇺🇸 R.E.D. FRIDAY — REMEMBER EVERYONE DEPLOYED! 🇺🇸

Today, we wear RED to remember those deployed, honor their sacrifices, and remind them that they are NEVER forgotten.
