1/19/2026 - Evening Sewing in Evans: We will be preparing fabric, sewing, and more for blankets, neck pillows, wheelchair bags, walker bags, and other items from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. If you are interested in joining us, please email us in advance for the address.

We are starting off the new year in a new location and a different day. The beginning of the year we will be focusing on wheelchair tote bags, walker tote bags, drawstring bags, sensory mats, etc. We still have plenty of squares for wheelchair lap blankets that need to be sorted and patterned out. No sewing skills required, but if you have your own machine please feel free to bring it along.

Our first sewing event for 2026 will be on 1/5/2026 at the Country Barn Quilt Co. located at 3905 Roberts Rd unit A, Martinez, GA 30907 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We will be cutting fabric, sorting fabric, and sewing in order to work on the items for 2026! We hope some of you will join us!

CROCHETER’S NEEDED

… We are looking for all the crocheter’s !!!! We have all the yarn!!! But we need volunteers who have the skills to make beanie hats for the veterans. There is no special pattern, style or color sequence. They can have multiple colors and any pattern you are wanting to do. They do not need to be fancy. The veterans just want the homemade beanies over the store bought ones.
