Wren and Bren are home. They held on tightly to each other and hoped against hope that they could go home together. Congratulations girls! We are so happy for them and know that they have found their purrfect furever home.

The wait is over! Mohan has been patiently waiting. His new mom was moving and she wanted everything to be purrfect before bringing him home. Congratulations, Mohan!

This one is rough. Nine years ago one of our longtime supporters volunteered her daughter's services to create a flyer for an upcoming event for Willowick and Eastlake Community Cats. Her daughter was 14 year old Leah Borsich. 2nd Lt. Leah Borsich was killed in an airplane crash in Alaska on August 20th. Leah was a project programmer for the US Airforce 611th Engineer Squadron based in Alaska.
Leah was an accomplished musician who played 10 instruments. While at the University of Dayton she was a member of The Pride of Dayton Marching Band, Pep Band, and Symphonic Wind Ensemble. She joined a band in Alaska and spent the summer performing at music festivals.
Leah approached whatever she did with energy and enthusiasm. She brought joy to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by so many.
Our hearts go out to all who knew and loved her.

This week in TNR. FOURTEEN cats spayed or neutered this week (we are somehow missing one picture if you're counting). We have an even split between males and females. Four of the females are moms, none were pregnant or in heat. NO MORE KITTENS! These cats will all be returned to their colonies to live longer, healthier lives.

Thank you to trappers Richie, Randi, Bob and Faith. Thanks also to the colony caregivers and to PetFix Northeast Ohio, Inc. It really does take a village!
