The United Missionary Baptist State Convention of Ohio stands alongside our District family as we gather to uplift Brother Kevis’ family and show our strength in unity.

Let’s fill the house, lift our voices in praise, and surround this family with the love of Christ.

With heavy hearts, the United Missionary Baptist State Convention of Ohio extends our deepest condolences to the Scruggs family and our District family, the Union Missionary Baptist District Association, in the passing of our beloved Brother Kevis Scruggs, District Youth Director.

His faithful service, love for our youth, and dedication to the Kingdom will never be forgotten. We stand U.N.I.T.E.D. with the District during this difficult time, lifting his family—especially his young sons—in our prayers.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18
