We kicked off a new Exploring the Arts program this morning with Luther Memorial's Summer Boot Camp! 🎨🐢

Today, we read I Am Stuck and created "Take It Slow Turtles" while learning about patience and perseverance. As a fun bonus, it was Silly Hat Day! 🎩😄

We're excited to spend the summer learning, creating, and making memories with these sweet faces! 💙

🎬✨ Photo dump from our Mental Health Movie Night, courtesy of MKleck Photography!

On June 5th, we gathered to watch The Unbreakable Boy, a powerful story about resilience, family, and finding strength through life's challenges.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special, including Mental Health Association of Northwestern PA, Family Services of NW PA, and Erie Family Alliance . A special thank you to UPMC Health Plan for sponsoring this event and supporting mental health awareness in our community.

Together, we're building a community where no one has to face mental health challenges alone. 💙

"We enjoyed having Ms. Jodie in our classroom and learning helpful self-care tools that students can continue using at home and at school throughout the summer. It has been a great benefit having her join our class."

This week, Jodie visited a McDowell classroom to teach summer self-care and healthy coping skills with our "Take It Slow Turtle". Students learned ways to slow down and calm their minds and bodies when feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or upset. We're grateful for the opportunity to support youth mental health and wellness this summer. 💙🐢
