Attention Erie County first responders and military veterans! 📣

The Erie County Bar Association is proud to announce its eighth annual Wills for Heroes event, offering FREE legal services to ensure your affairs are in order should tragedy strike.

Volunteer attorneys will be preparing FREE Wills, Living Wills, and Healthcare and Financial Powers of Attorney for eligible first responders, military veterans, and their spouses/partners. At the end of your session, you will leave with notarized legal documents.

This year's event will be held in-person on two separate dates:

Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Location: Erie County Bar Association, 429 W. 6th Street, Erie.

Appointments are required. Spots are limited and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, so please call to register. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated.

Important Information:

- Appointments for each person last about one hour. If registering with a spouse or partner, you will be scheduled for back-to-back appointments.

- Proof of Pennsylvania residency is required (e.g., driver's license).

- Confirmation of your status as a first responder or military veteran is also required.

- Due to the limited time, this service is unavailable if your estate exceeds $750,000.
