What a night! ✨

The Erie City Mission Celebration of New Life 2026 took place yesterday, October 15, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful evening.

We had the privilege of honoring three recipients of the Billy Sunday Life Transformation Award.

Today, we’re sharing Courtney’s story. A 2024 graduate of our Women’s New Life Program, and this year’s honoree of the Billy Sunday Award. Her journey is a powerful reminder of what happens when hope is restored and a life is transformed. Watch her story at the link below.

Thank you, Lord, for the privilege of sharing these incredible stories of the lives You have touched. 🙏

Stay tuned! Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing Rick’s and Zahraa’s stories, along with our year in review video.

Throwing it back to a few weeks ago when Passalinqua's Pizzeria treated our shelter quests to some delicious pizza. 🍕

The men in our shelter were immensely grateful.💙

Our hearts are broken for the families, friends, and neighbors affected by Friday evening’s tragedy on Erie’s east side. This loss happened close to home, in the neighborhood we are privilege to serve.

We are praying for God’s comfort and peace to surround every grieving family, and for strength for the first responders, pastors, and caregivers walking alongside them. We grieve with those who grieve, and we hold everyone touched by this tragedy close in prayer.

If you are hurting and need a meal, a listening ear, or someone to pray with you, our doors are open.
