Hospital and clinic leaders from across the country are coming together this week to connect, share ideas, learn from one another, and strengthen the future of rural health care. It kicks off today and we are excited to welcome them to the Rural Hospital Strategy Summit and see what happens when rural health leaders have the opportunity to learn and build together!

The Summit brings together participants from the Rural Hospital Stabilization Program, the Delta Region Community Health Systems Development Program, and the Rural Healthcare Provider Transition Project. The event is co-hosted by the National Rural Health Resource Center, Rural Health Redesign Center, and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)'s Federal Office of Rural Health Policy.

Our CEO, Sally Buck, attended the Rural Health Capital Resources Council Stakeholder Meeting earlier this week. Rural health leaders and capital funding partners gathered from across the country around this year’s theme, The Power of Partnerships: Catalyzing Community Health Investments in Rural Places.

As a member of the Council, Sally continues to build and strengthen partnerships that help The Center support the economic sustainability and community outcomes of health care organizations.

After a recent on-site technical assistance visit, Pioneers leaders gained tools to improve efficiency, quality, patient experience, and safety of care.

Hospitals like Pioneers Medical Center are strengthening quality improvement efforts, enhancing patient experience, and building a stronger foundation of engagement with guidance from the Rural Healthcare Provider Transition Project (RHPTP).
