Our Rural Hospital Stabilization Program (RHSP) team hit the road traveling all over from Texas to New York to visit the eight (8) hospitals in our newest cohort. These Meet & Greets give us the chance to connect face-to-face with teams and see and learn about the communities that make this work so important.

We are excited to continue the work of this program as we walk these hospitals through the financial and operational assessment portion of the program, which serves as the basis of all the work going forward to improve their financial sustainability.

This national program, supported by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy, a division of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), HHS, and administered by the National Rural Health Resource Center, is to strengthen rural health care delivery nationwide and help the hospitals expand care and keep it close to home.

This week we are proud to recognize and celebrate National Hospital Week, led by the American Hospital Association. National Hospital Week is a time to shine a light on the dedicated hospital staff, caregivers, and volunteers whose dedication to patient care makes a positive and lasting impact in their communities. At The Center, we are extremely lucky to work with rural hospitals and clinics across the country and to experience firsthand what these front-line workers do for their communities.
