Softball gear, dance uniforms, cheer shoes and lacrosse equipment - oh my!! The Montgomery Sports Foundation is hard at work purchasing sports gear for our female athletes and we are deeply grateful to the Junior League of Duluth for providing a $2,000 grant for our GameTime Gear initiative to help advance our mission of making sure EVERY athlete can participate, and do so confidently with the necessary equipment and uniforms. It’s time to put your party hats on, and celebrate with us! 🥳🥳

On this day, exactly one year ago, we officially launched our GameTime Grants initiative and opened up our applications for assistance. With a world of unknowns and a lot of very understanding and supportive associations and clubs, we navigated through our first year and - let’s be honest, we killed it! 🏆

In the last 365 days we helped 229 athletes get in the game! Of those athletes - 49 participated in a sport for the first time!! 💥

We helped these kids participate in 19 different sports across 26 associations, clubs and schools, and paid over $55,000 in fees on behalf of these families!

We’ve only uncovered the tip of the iceberg, and we are looking to do bigger and better things in 2026 and beyond! Cheers to every single one of these little athletes and to all of the support our community has poured into them! 🏅
