The point of the Sept. 16th MSF Play it Forward gala? To raise LOTS of money for kids...and have FUN.

FUN to us? It means being able to wear your favorite sports jersey or shirt and repping your favorite sports team. Any team!

It can be your kid's baseball team jersey. A Maddie Rooney Minnesota Frost sweater. A t-shirt repping your nephew's college swim team. Your old, ugly Sparta High School wrestling team warmup suit.

Any sport..any shirt/sweatshirt/jersey, etc.!

Either way, the Gala is 100% about kids and sports...

OUR POINT: We love working college students. Ya got it? Good. We're also going to start looking for local college athlete ambassadors for MSF. That means UMD, CSS, UWS, and LSC!

The best youth sports systems don’t start by asking who’s the most talented. They start by making sure every child has the opportunity to play, because access creates participation, and participation creates opportunity.

"Haaland grew up in a low-cost, high-participation system of youth sports that couldn't sound any more radical to American ears.

"It was always that everybody should play equally-that everybody should have fun, said a former teammate. "Winning matches at a young age was not important."

Norway’s Erling Haaland is one of soccer’s most fearsome and competitive stars. He grew up in a place where winning and losing hardly mattered.
