It's important for kids to have dedicated time to let their creativity wander. Youth Art Club provides, space, community and supplies. For those that need a prompt, Rachel is great at thinking of fun art challenges such as trying a new medium or limiting the material used to create.

Adults bring up to 3 kiddos with you and take on a creative, collaborative challenge. Using the materials we supply that day, allow the children to lead the creative process.

At least one adult must supervise and make art with the youth. We will supply all materials and prompts for making if your group needs a hand.

Participation is free. Registration is required.

Build confidence and develop foundational skills as you learn about drawing with color. Sara Hilby will introduce color theory, drawing techniques, and color applications. Students will learn layering color, color relationships and characteristics, mood, and how to develop form using colored pencils. If you’re new to color, this may be the class for you.

Register for Interior Mural Painting with Lyric Morris-Latchaw! 6 Tuesday evenings beginning November 10. The class will be painting a mural on the interior stairwell at Bluff Strokes Art Center.

There are two Whimsical Stitching classes left this year. Design Your Own Embroidery (3 Sundays)
For those with basic stitching skills who want to plan and execute an original design. Learn to design, transfer, and stitch with confidence.

Personalize It!:
Add a name, initials or a basic image to a garment you already own and love! OR personalize a gift just in time for the holidays! Add a name to a sweatshirt, some flowers to a knitted hat or gloves, or cloth napkins. The options are endless when you know a few basic stitches! We'll focus our stitch learning on the stem, chain, satin and couched rose stitches to customize and embellish an item.
