St Mark Early Childhood center open for age 6 weeks to 4 years old! Afterschool and Summer offerings open for K-5 kids! Since 1988, St. St.

With a focus on Social Emotional Learning, Literacy, & Nature, we create environments that give children a place to learn and grow. Mark Youth Enrichment has been dedicated to providing a wide spectrum of educational, cultural, and social programs and services to Dubuque area children and families. Mark currently serves more than 400 area students through our before and after school programs which take place in Dubuque elementary schools : Audubon Elementary, Lincoln Elementary & Marshall Elementary and three Western Dubuque schools: Peosta Elementary, Seton Catholic, and Dyersville Elementary schools. Additionally, there is also a Summer Heroes Camp available each June and July in Dubuque and Dyersville! Mark Youth Enrichment is fortunate to work with local businesses and individuals, to ensure the support necessary for the success of our community’s youth, because every child deserves an opportunity to succeed! We are locally funded by generous donors and foundations as well as being a 21st Century Community Learning Center.

We’re proud to join communities all across America celebrating today! We are so proud to create spaces filled with love, safety, and belonging everyday for these kiddos - and that wouldn't be possible without the support of our amazing community! The love you show these kids means more than you'll ever know!

Last week, our Dubuque kiddos celebrated Lights On Afterschool by creating a gem stone glow jar. They all had their creative caps on and made some unique fun jars! ⚡💎🙂

At St Mark After School, we prioritize time outside whenever possible! Time spent exploring outside, feeling the sunshine, running with the wind, and climbing to new heights all help our kiddos practice resilency, problem solving, and more!

Afternoons spent outside are the best - they lead to more questions, more play, and more connections with the world & people around us! ☀️🌱😆

Across all our St Mark programs, we strive to help our kiddos have as much access to nature as possible! For our Peosta After School kiddos, that means spending loads of time out on the playground together!

Opportunities like this give our students the chance to feel the sunshine on their faces, get their bodies moving, and connect with one another through teamwork, sharing, and more! It is one of their favorite times of the day - and the same is true for our team too!
