As we celebrate 10 years of The Red Basket Project, we're reflecting on how far we've come - and looking ahead to what comes next.
Over the past decade, we've distributed thousands of period packs, built meaningful community partnerships, and worked to ensure that no one in our community has to go without period products. None of that would have been possible without dedicated volunteers.
As we enter our next chapter, we're looking for supporters who want to become more involved by joining one of our volunteer committees.
Whether you're passionate about storytelling, organizing events, working behind the scenes, or advocating for change, there's a place for you.
๐ฃ Communication Committee
Help share our mission through social media, public speaking, newsletters, community outreach, and storytelling.
๐ Fundraising / Grant Writing / Events Committee
Support fundraising efforts, help plan events, identify grant opportunities, write grant applications, and build relationships with donors and sponsors.
๐ฐ Finance Committee
Assist with budgeting, financial oversight, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our organization.
๐ฆ Inventory / Delivery Committee
Help coordinate product inventory, organize supplies, and support the distribution of period products to our partner agencies.
๐ข Advocacy / Board Development Committee
Advance menstrual equity efforts, strengthen community partnerships, recruit future leaders, and help guide the organization's growth.
