Our 1st stop of the Dubuque Bass Club tour takes us to Mud Lake.
Mother Nature decided to make it a challenge today with the wind and rain.
While some were challenged with the conditions, others said p**s off Mother Nature and hold my beer, we got this.
We had 25 teams for this event in which we paid out 5 spots.
Without further ado, here are your winners.

1st place was Nick Meyer and Darwin Cloft with 18.83 lbs.
2nd place was Ethan Perry and Luke Carrol with 17.95 lbs.
3rd place was Austin Brimeyer and Cletus Gerardy with 14.10 lbs.
4th place was Cris Chris Clewell and Tonner Clewell with 14.03 lbs.
5th place was Jeremy McDowell and Mike Stoffler with 13.50 lbs.

1st place big bass was Nick Meyer and Darwin Cloft with a 4.77 lb bass.
2nd place big bass was Ethan Perry and Luke Carrol with a 4.40 lb bass.

Our next tournament is out of Schmidt Harbor on June 14th. Thank you for everyone who fished this grueling tournament and we will see you all on the flip side.

Our first tournament of 2026 is finally here! Get your membership forms signed and your entry fees paid at our meeting on Thursday - 7:00pm.

This right here, is what it's all about. I love bass fishing and very passionate about it. From being the social media director/V.P. of the D.B.C. to helping out with our youth club.
I would never want it any other way. Well, maybe buy a boat sometime down the line.
Big shoutout to Tim Jones for putting this trip together and for Nick Meyer and Chad Breitsprecker for hanging out with the meat man.

We had an outstanding turnout last night for our club banquet.
We had lots of laughs, great food and drinks as well as lots of raffle giveaways.
We also raised $1200 for the Jr. Dubuque Bass Club from our rod raffle.
Big shout out to the staff at Happy's Place for the outstanding food and drinks and Peter Hancock for the awesome plaques.
The club would like to recognize Chris Clewell as our new President and Kelsey Brimeyer as our new Secretary. Chad Breitsprecker is still our Treasure as well as Richard Thormann as your V.P. of the D.B.C..
Thanks to everyone who came out and we will see you all in the spring.
