Today we laid to rest one of our own. Frank was a mentor, a leader, and a brother. You will never be forgotten. Rest easy, we hope we made you proud today. We will take it from here.🚒

It is with extremely heavy hearts we announce the passing of one our brothers, Captain Frank Lahey after a courageous battle with cancer. Frank was our training officer, and served 23 years on the dept. Our hearts hurt, and Frank will be missed forever. Until we meet again Frank. Rest in Peace 1325, we will take it from here.🚒💜🖤

Today some members went to the Iowa Firefighters Memorial to honor all fallen firefighters, but especially Ed Merges, Bert Kutsch, and David Spoerl whose names were all added to the wall this year. We remember them every day and every call we are on, and thank them for their years of service to the Sherrill Fire Dept! 🚒🚑🇺🇸

Dubuque County Emergency Services are safer and have strong confidence when responding to emergencies with Marty on the other end of the radio for us. Thanks Marty, well deserved!!

It is with great pleasure that we honor one of our own. At today’s IEMSA award ceremony in Des Moines, Marty Benda was presented with the Dispatcher of the Year award. Thank you Marty for your dedication, professionalism and service to Dubuque County Emergency Services.
