Camp Albrecht Acres A special place for special people We have 40 acres of wooded land in beautiful Sherrill, Iowa - just north of Dubuque.

During camping season, we provide all sorts of activities for our campers:
• Nature Study
• Crafts
• Fishing
• Swimming
• Cookouts
• Dances
• Awards Ceremony
• Camping in an authentic teepee
• Exploring the woods on almost 2 miles of nature trails
• Hay wagon rides
• Volleyball

Thank you to Rock Springs Co. for offering us a BOGO deal! What a great start to stocking our snack cart for summer!

Each day, while campers are at the pool, we take a break and choose an item or two from the snack cart to refuel. Campers are not charged for these items, and deals and donations really help us offset the cost!

Please help us thank these volunteers from Alliant Energy! These folks were on grounds last week as part of Dubuque Days of Caring (rain date reschedule). They mulched around trees, trimmed branches, cleaned gutters, painted, and so much more. Alliant was the recipient of our 2025 Special Services Award - they dedicate a day each fall and spring to serve camp! We truly couldn't do what we do without community partners like Alliant.
