Last month, Play Yellow Ambassador Jennifer Kupcho joined Arkansas Children's Champion Levi, Dr. Rustin Morse and Walmart's Courtney Naudo for a special check presentation at the NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G. 💛

For Brett Stark, some of the best Play Yellow moments are the simplest ones: sharing a laugh with a child on the course, introducing someone to golf for the first time or finding a small way to make a kid smile.

“Golf can provide comfort and a sense of belonging for children who may not be able to participate in other sports because of their health. I have seen that joy firsthand.”

That’s why Brett believes everyone in the golf community can have a place in Play Yellow. Wearing yellow on the course represents a shared commitment to supporting children and families in our communities.

Community support helps make care like this possible! 👶💙💛
A year ago, Maxwell was born at just 23 weeks, weighing 1 pound, 10 ounces. After 153 days in MUSC Children's Health's NICU, he is now off oxygen, full of smiles, and celebrating his first birthday!

Today, Maxwell's family is giving back to the nurses and families in the NICU where his story began.

The 2026 Bert Babb Memorial CMN Golf Classic brought golfers, sponsors and supporters together for another incredible day on the course, all in support of children’s healthcare. 💛⛳️

This year’s tournament raised $170,000 to support neonatal and pediatric programs and services at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Since 1995, this tournament has become a meaningful community tradition and has raised more than $2 million for kids and families.

Thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, sponsored and supported this year’s event and helped continue the legacy Bert Babb helped create.

For Meredith Schuler, Play Yellow became personal when her 11-year-old son became a patient at Nicklaus Children's Hospital after being diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer.

Just weeks earlier, Meredith had listened to a 13-year-old Champion at a Play Yellow Birdie Bash share a strikingly similar story. He had woken up unable to walk and was later diagnosed with cancer after testing at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida.

Then Meredith’s own son woke up unable to walk and in severe pain. Two weeks later, doctors found a tumor on his spine.

Meredith had already supported Play Yellow through her work with the South Florida PGA Foundation, helping bring PGA Professionals together to raise funds for children’s healthcare. Experiencing that care with her own family gave that work a new meaning.

“Every Champion story makes me want to do more, give more, help more and support more. When my family became one impacted by childhood cancer, my connection with Play Yellow grew deeper.”

From 1 pound, 13 ounces to Berklee College of Music. 💙🎶
Born at just 26 weeks, Kara spent more than three months in the Level IV NICU at Valley Children's, where she received specialized care for complications related to prematurity.

Today, Kara is 19, a competitive rock climber, performer and high school graduate headed to Boston to study Music Leadership & Innovation. Her family continues to stay connected to Valley Children's, sharing Kara's story to give hope to other families.
