💙 Our Community Needs Us More Than Ever

In 2026, we’ve seen an increased demand at our Community Free Shop as more of our neighbors turn to the Free Shop for support.

To keep up with that growing need, we need more volunteers than ever this September. 🍂

We have night, daytime, and weekend volunteer opportunities. Volunteers 15 and up may volunteer on their own. Those under 15, may volunteer with an adult.

At One Dublin, we often follow a simple idea - see a need, meet a need. Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Dublin, OH clearly follows the same value, as they saw that we were running low on underwear and quickly rose up to meet that need.

They not only collected hundreds of pairs of new underwear for our families, but they also sorted and packaged them so they were ready to use in our Free Shop immediately. Prince of Peace remains one of our strongest partners and the continually show how powerful loving your neighbor can truly be.

Did you know that on average a family is short 50 diapers per child each month? A lack of diapers leads to health issues for babies and increased financial stress for families.

Thanks to Jerome Church and their Diaper Angels program, our families are able to get diapers at the Free Shop. Jerome Church has supplied thousands of diapers to our Community Free Shop and is able to provide us with specific sizes of diapers when we run out.

Thank you for helping us keep our shelves full!

We love a group who can do it all, and Modular Assembly Innovations proved to be just that! They served as personal shoppes to help complete online orders (yes, we have those!), counted inventory, organized donations, restocked the shop, and even fixed a broken wheel on one of our carts.

We love the businesses in Dublin who support us in so many ways, and Stanley Steemer is one of them! Not only have they cleaned the rugs in our Free Shop to help make sure our space is in the best condition possible for our families, but they also sent a group of employees to volunteer and help us sort donations.

We are so grateful for their assistance and for helping us serve each and every person with the dignity they deserve.

Our annual Jean Griffith Back-to-School Celebration was once again a massive success! We provided almost 800 backpacks to over 300 Dublin families on a rainy Saturday morning. Despite the weather, our families had a great time visiting our 35 community partners where they were able to get information, resources, food, and prizes.

We are grateful to our volunteers who showed up and made everything run smoothly for our families. A special thank you to Dublin City Schools for allowing us to use Emerald Campus and to Sunny 95 - Columbus, OH for throwing a block party during the event and providing our families with music, entertainment, and tons of joy.

Wow! What a wonderful way for our schools to increase their competitive spirit to benefit their community!

Thanks to girls field hockey teams from Dublin Coffman Athletics, Dublin Jerome Celtics Athletics, and , over 300 hundred personal care items were collected and donated to our Free Shop. These items will help benefit so many of our neighbors and we are so grateful for the continued support from our local sports teams.

A huge thank you to for donating breakfast for our Back to School volunteers! The sandwiches were such a big hit that by the time I came in to take a picture, this was all that was left 😅

We greatly appreciated the fuel to help us serve our community that morning!
