We are absolutely thrilled to welcome George Troyano as the new Executive Director of Twilight Wish Foundation! With an impressive track record in managing operations within complex environments, George brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team. Most recently, he served as President of MD/DC/VA for Clear Channel Outdoor, one of the largest national out-of-home media operations. Prior to that, Troyano spent nearly a decade with Gannett USA Today as Division President, responsible for leading 45 sites across the U.S. and Guam.
In addition, George served as President and COO of Review Publishing; Group Publisher of Broad Street Publishing; Senior Vice President of Village Voice Media and Division Vice President at United Advertising. He started his career in the consumer packaged goods industry, holding numerous management roles at both Revlon and Del Laboratories.
Although his career was spent in the corporate sector, George is no stranger to the world of nonprofits and philanthropy. Throughout his career, he served on numerous boards including the Westchester County Association, United Way, Arts Westchester and Helen Hayes Hospital. While on the board of Helen Hayes, George led the efforts to open Helenโs Hope Chest, a community thrift shop serving the residents of West Haverstraw, NY. In 2017, he received the Legacy Award presented by Volunteer New York! for his work serving nonprofits and his commitment to volunteerism and community engagement in the Lower Hudson Valley. Currently, George serves on the Board of Trustees for the YMCA in the Pines in Medford, NJ.
With George at the helm, we are confident that Twilight Wish is poised for opportunity and growth as we continue our mission of making our world a nicer place to age, one Twilight Wish at a time.
