Thank you for your support!!!!

Today, the Outreach & Impact Foundation was honored to welcome Pamela Moore, Executive Director of Detroit Food Academy, to the Christian Financial headquarters. During her visit, we proudly presented the organization with a $500 grant in support of its Afterschool Leadership Program.

Through this impactful program, Detroit youth receive weekly culturally relevant, accessible, and empowering culinary education at schools and community sites. This grant will help provide fresh ingredients, cooking supplies, take-home meal kits, and enrichment activities.

We are proud to support Detroit Food & Entrepreneurship Academy as they empower youth to cultivate essential life skills and confidence through food education, career exploration, mentorship, and industry immersion.

Together, we're helping cultivate the leaders of tomorrow. 💙

Last week we visited the Detroit Historical Museum to view the exhibit. Ms. Lex prepared a scavenger hunt for the youth to complete while we explored the history of Detroit’s Black Bottom neighborhood and the stories that continue to shape our city. Thank you for hosting us for our Black History Month field trip! 😊💚🖤❤️ we also gifted each youth participant the new Black Bottom Archive coloring book and look forward to seeing what they create. 🖍️✍🏾

We were happy to hold our cookie and cupcake exchange at Ford Resource Center East after having to reschedule due to snow days. Following a presentation from Michigan State University hospitality program, our youth decorated cookies and cupcakes to share with their families and friends. 🩷🍪 we also had cookies from Ms. Tiffs favorite bakery ✨ Thank you to our facilitators and .booze host teacher Ms Lockett, our families and our youth for another great event 😊
