Pythagoras Lodge #14 F & AM PHA Prince Hall Masonry On March 6, 1775, Prince Hall and 14 other black men were initiated by a British military lodge in Boston.?

They were eventually granted a charter by the Grand Lodge of England on September 20, 1784 as African Lodge #459. This is only known existing charter from the Grand Lodge of England issued to a lodge on soil that is now America. March 6th is the anniversary of a legacy of great men who started the oldest African-American fraternal organization in the USA ... proudly named:

"The Prince Hall Masons".
